An Outsider Within Your Church

Have you ever attended church and  felt like you just don’t belong? You hear the sermons, apply it, recieve blessings and testimonies but still feel lost within the crowd of your church?

You have a burden to share, but you don’t have a church peer/prayer partner to confide in?

Are you the antisocial Christian in your church?

Divine Preservation and Healing – Mr & Mrs D

In the first twelve weeks of my pregnancy, I prayed fervently. I became complacent after this. By twenty weeks into pregnancy it became a complicated case. I came back from work on day and felt a pressure and went to the hospital. The nurse called the registrar, who called the consultant. The consultant said the baby was one its way and at twenty one weeks, he did not have much hope. At first I was crying from the shock. When I got in touch with some people from the church, I was reminded that I had not been taught to cry in church. Faith arose in me. I told the medical staff that I will take my healthy baby home. The consultant said he had never seen a viable delivery at twenty one weeks in his twenty five year career. I was put in large cosy room; which at the time I was unaware it was a bereavement room. The following day, I got a call from the a deacon in church who prayed “that the right team will attend to me”. As the new shift started, a doctor came to me saying that he was taking me to theatre. He appeared very hyper and I kept asking him whether he was taking the right patient. He said, he could do something to sustain the pregnancy”, but there was a danger of the baby’s membrane rupturing. The initial registrar that came in to tell me about the risks, ended up praying and praising with me when she found out that I was Christian. On the day of the operation the nurses also had their strike that day. The consultant did the best he could do under the circumstances. I was discharged four days later.

Three weeks later, my water broke and I went to the hospital. I did not go into labour and was discharged from the hospital two weeks later.

At twenty eight weeks, I finally went into labour and delivered a son.

I had met Pastor David a few weeks before and he said the pregnancy would be persevered. The midwife who delivered the baby said the baby had being preserved despite the cord around his neck. They said he under developed lungs and a bleed in his brain. They gave him seventy percent survival chance. This went on for a few days. We saw Pastor David last December, who told us to anoint him and confess the Word over him. We did this to him daily in the hospital. A brain scan was done and nothing abnormal was found. They also said he needs oxygen and physiotherapy when he comes home. He did not need them when home. At the check in July, the same doctors could not believe how much he had grown. To God be the glory. (more…)

Restoration of Missing Child- Abimbola O

Happy New Month everybody. Whatever expectation that you had at the beginning of the year that has not be delivered yet – may it be delivered this month. The ninth month is always the time for deliveries.

When reading or hearing any testimonies; come expectant.

Have a fruitful and elevating month.

On Thursday as I listened to DOMI radio (Winners internet radio), I heard Bishop Oyedepo talking about a woman who was missing for three months and had lost her mind. All she said was “take me to Canaanland” (Winners Chapel Lagos). She was taken to Canaanland, prayed for and her mind was restored. The following morning, I received a text from a pastor friend in Nigeria informing me that a child was missing and that I should join them in prayer.

I connected my prayer to the testimony I heard the night before and I asked God for the child to be found in three months. The Holy Spirit said three months was too much; so I changed it to three weeks. Again, the Holy Spirit said it was too long. I changed the prayer to three days, but heard it was too long yet again. I finally said three hours and I began to pray from 6AM. By 8AM, I received a text from the same friend stating that the child had being found. Praise God.

– Abimbola O

An amazing testimony that touched the heart of many people in my church.

So what can I bring out from this testimony to encourage you this week…?

For answers, for turnarounds or for a change in circumstances it is imperative to be prayerful and not just pray anyhow but pray with faith. It is important to have that connection with the Holy Spirit too. Here our sister, connected a testimony she heard to her prayer; when reading/hearing testimonies come expectant and take with you from that testimony…substance.

Every testimony ministers to someone one way or another (sometimes even differently) it is always a good idea to take the testimony as a spiritual tool to reenergize faith, as an aid to fight spiritual battles or to refresh our relationship with God (and more).

How has this testimony spoken to you?

If you would like to share a testimony on this blog email me at testimonies_speak@outlook.com or send it via the The Multifunction Box.

Happy Thursday.

Dead brought Back to Life – Austin J | “Y’all need to Praise Him”

Dead brought Back to Life – Austin J.

Apart from the fact that this mind blowing testimony has been on my Dashboard for ages, it has been a LONG while since I have featured Winners’ Chapel on this site, so this week is the week.

On June 30th 2014, my wife was due to give birth in the United States and was scheduled for two major surgeries; a hernia repair and caesarean section (CS). The CS was successful as the baby was delivered without complications but during the hernia repair, my wife bled profusely and screamed that she would die. I rebuked the statement and said she would not die but live. She was rushed to intensive care unit and later confirmed dead. She was dead for seven and a half hours. The zonal pastor came to the hospital with Bishop Oyedepo’s photograph, a mantle (anointed cloth), anointing oil and the communion. He placed the picture on her head, placed the mantle on the tummy and anointed her body. He gave me the communion on her behalf and believed she would experience the resurrection power of Jesus. The medical team left the room because they were discouraged. Through faith, we engaged in praise and worship for seven and a half hours and as we did the power of God surged into her and she came back to life. To God be all the glory.

“Y’all Need To Praise Him”

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord…

A scripture from Psalm 150:6 conveying to us that God expects us all to praise Him. Praise is not an activity that should be done when only convenient but should be experienced continuously. It also should not be done depending on the circumstances but at all times. We should praise Him not only for what He has done for us already, but also what we expect from Him (in fact a praise addict always focuses on what is written in the Word and not what is happening in his/her surroundings).

Never underestimate the power of praise. Why? Because it is a catalyst that turns the written Word into testimonies for us (Psalm 119:162).

I rejoice at Your word, As one who finds great treasure.

David wrote in that scripture: rejoicing at His Word, praising God as if he had already won the prize. Imagine, praising God for something that he hasn’t got physically but praise Him expectant (for that prize). That is one serious type of faith.

Let’s pause for a second.

As humans we love to be praised. Married couples I’m sure you love being getting praises from your spouse. Likewise employees from their employers, children from their parents. It’s a part of us. Getting praises makes us want to do more of that activity/task etc, makes us want to go out of our way a bit more – just to get that praise.

Now how you think God’s feels when you praise Him? Is it not more than just great. Don’t you think praising Him will make Him want to do more for you? Give you your miracles, your testimonies? Let me type it here as I heard it in that service:

The degree of His presence is dependent on the degree of your praise.

The more fearful your praise, the more dangerous your miracles.

– David Oyedepo Jnr.

Finally, I want to point out that praise is the key to unanswered prayers (Philippines 4:6).

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

We can pray and pray and pray but as the scriptural indicates sometimes prayer is not enough it needs to come with praises, with thanksgiving.

As you praise God for your testimonies tonight, I pray that you are also expectant and have that faith to go with it.

I pray this post has blessed you.

Hey testifiers! How are you all doing?

Apologise for been late with this weeks’ post. It has been a very busy week as I am currently in transition between so many things.

So firstly, I just want to give thanks to God and to you too; for touching this page, reading through and giving me your testimonies to share. I actually feel blessed. To the glory of God, I am having amazing people voluntarily messaging/emailing me their testimonies. Praise Jesus! Na God O.

If you have a testimony to share, do not hesitate to message me via The Multifunction Box or email me at your_testimonies@aol.co.uk. If you want to share your testimony as a poem or music that will be great too.

Fruitfulness – Winner’s Chapel Testimonies No.2

Miracle Baby After Four Unsuccessful IVF Treatment – Bunmi A

I got married just before my 33rd birthday and got pregnant immediately but had a miscarriage. I was told by the doctors that my body will get rid of the miscarriage naturally. After some time I went to the doctor as I was not feeling well but was told that there was nothing they could do. My monthly period started getting heavier as we started believing God for another baby. We saw the gynaecologist who diagnosed fibroid. Despite two procedures the doctors were undecided whether to remove the fibroid or not. I realised that there was a problem when the professionals were undecided as to how to proceed. I saw another gynaecologist who said I had an infection which blocked one of my tubes. I was told I would get pregnant within a few months with medication. I was then referred for IVF treatment. I had four IVF treatments but none was successful. I was told to look for surrogate mother instead as all medical procedure had been exhausted. My husband was not happy with the idea and we never stopped believing God for the whole period. Pastor David said on a certain Sunday in 2011 and also during the European Winners’ Convention of the same year of fruitfulness was my portion and that someone will become a surprise to the doctors and family members. I had counselling with him in 2012, and was assured that I will be fruitful. I was asked to read the book “I shall not be barren”. I was inspired by the testimonies of other people who had gone through similar challenges and I fasted and prayed. During the 2012 Covenant Day of Fruitfulness, I held on to the word of Pastor David that it is God that gives conception. The following month after the Covenant Day of Supernatural Conception, I was confirmed pregnant. I had my miracle baby after eight years of marriage. Today to the glory of God, my baby is one years old.

Two Children Within 17 Months After a Hole in fallopian tube – Nike A.

This testimony is on behalf of my Winners’ Satellite Fellowship (home cell) member. In 2012, her daughter was told she could not have a baby because of a hole in her fallopian tube. While my friend was praying that the Lord should give her a Word for her daughter, a word came from Pastor David on the pulpit from Isaiah 32:15. It says:

“Until the spirit be poured upon us on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted as a forest.”

My friend keyed into the Word, believing it for her daughter who conceived to the glory of God and had a baby. After that she also said “Amen” to an instruction when Pastor David was praying for those who were believing God for children. Her daughter conceived again, her daughter had two children within 17 months despite all medical report.

God is indeed a faithful God.

I made time to watch a BBC documentary program a while back called “Inside The Human Body: Creation” and from a person who is into Science, all I can say in a nutshell is that it takes GOD and FAITH to be fruitful. Whether you are perfectly healthy or have been tagged with a medical report; to get pregnant is an amazing miracle and we should give thanks to God always and forever by dedicating that child back to God.

Never forget that it is in God’s will for you to be fruitful:

Genesis 1:28 “…God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, fill the earth and subdue it…””

Psalm 127:3 “Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord. The fruit of the womb is a reward”.

I know this post will touch someone today, I planned weeks before that this will be the week that I will be focusing on fruitfulness. Funnily enough Sunday service (just gone) I heard an AMAZING testimony, I could have waited for my church to transcribe it into writing but waiting will be like delaying and possibly disobeying.

A member of my church took part in outreach and approached a lady to give her a “You’re Special” leaflet. With it, he must have told her God loves her. The lady protested and told him that God has disappointed her, that she has been waiting to have a child for years (22 years to be precise), even keyed into faith by buying babywear, toys etc and yet nothing. The man invited the lady to our church and told her to key into the Word and if in three months nothing has changed, she can leave and go about her way.

One day, the man was approached by the lady and she said “I have been looking for you for a while, anyway, I wanted to give you the good news that I am two months pregnant.”

And this is after 22 years of barrenness.

No matter what the doctor/man has tagged you with, I have a God who can change around your situation.

Past Event: Winners’s Chapel Shiloh 2014: Heaven On Earth

Shiloh 2014 Testimony by Mr & Mrs Princewill

Heard an astonishing testimony yesterday.

A woman in Nigeria was told that she would not be able to hold a child in her womb for more than a month.

Since 2008, she has been waiting to get pregnant.

The year last year was themed “Double Portion” and Bishop David Oyedepo prophesied that “you will receive more than your double portion before Shiloh 2014

After the couple keyed into the Word, read several books including “You Shall Not Be Barren – David O. Oyedepo) – the lady took in.

Ladies and gents…I was confused when I saw this…the lady…not only got pregnant but had QUADRUPLETS!

Testimonies From Past Shiloh

Healed from Six Year Paralysis – Christelle A

I am a Cameroonian, but I live in the USA. Six years ago, I was diagnosed with a stomach ulcer and went through major surgeries, one of which was an abdominal surgery. Later, it degenerated to appendicitis and subsequently, a kidney problem. Since then, I went from one hospital to another, but to no avail. At a point, I became very weak and could not walk. Therefore a wheelchair was recommended. Meanwhile, my mother had to quit her job to cater for me because I couldn’t do anything on my own. In a bid of lasting solution, my family and I came to Nigeria for Shiloh 2013 to have an encounter with the God of Bishop Oyedepo. During one of the night sessions, as the Bishop ministered, I felt a strange power and discovered that I could move my legs. Suddenly, I got off the wheelchair and I was made perfectly whole! I give glory to God. My father “can see clearly now” – Sanjo D My father suffered a partial stroke in 2011 which resulted in partial blindness (he couldn’t see with one eye). He attended Shiloh 2013 in Nigeria and called me the third day of Shiloh and he said, “Sanjo, I didn’t know this church is so big, I can now see the end of the church” Praise God!

Triplets After 20 Years of Waiting

“My husband and I got married 20 years ago as Christians. Since then, we had been believing Go for the fruit of the womb. We went to hospitals to find out what was wrong, and for treatment. After running so many tests the results showed that there was nothing wrog with my husband or me.

The doctors, who could not locate the cause of our barrenness, were all confused. My husband and I did not allow that to worry us, because we have a God that can do all things!

In 2007, my husband and I came to Cannan Land for Shiloh. We came with high expectations. During the service, I made a vow unton God that if should give us the fruit of the womb, we would come back to Cannan Land to give Him the glory.

In November 2010, I got pregnant for the first time in my life! All through the pregnancy period, God’s protective am was upon me and the triplets in the womb. I June 2011, I was delievered of the three triplets – two boys and a girl. We thank God for visiting us in a very strange way!”

Okay, so these testifiers went to Canaan land and then received their miracles. You do not have to go to Nigeria to receive your testimony, your miracle – there are so many more testimonies that people got from watching it online or going to Dartford. Come expected with faith and in Jesus name you will receive your own. See you there, and God bless.

Delivered of a Baby After Three Years of Pregnancy – Adenike A.

I joined Winners Chapel in 2014 through the invitation of a Zonal Pastor. I was pregnant for three years and had been to several churches and offered several sacrifices to idols for a solution but all to no avail. I sold my belongings and spent all I had in futility; my husband also died in a motor accident during this time. I met a zonal minister during the district outreach who invited me for midweek service which was feet washing service. I refused because there was no connection between my feet and my pregnancy and said what I needed was for my tummy to be washed. The Pastor said if my feet were washed, then my whole body would be cleansed. My neighbours discouraged me about attending but I still went. During the service, Bishop Oyedepo told us to ask God what we wanted in that service and I told God I wanted to deliver my baby after the service. Immediately, I started feeling strange pains and my baby changed position. I gave birth without any operation. I give God all the glory.

Evening everybody! Nine days into October. I hope is isn’t too late to wish everyone a Happy New Month. As we draw closer to the end of the year, may the Lord continue to protect you, may he give you guidance and may He answer your year 2014 prayer points with speed. May He also perfect and cover every testimony that you have encoutered in Jesus name.

Multiple Job Offers – Bro T. O

During the miracle job banquet service in April this year, as Pastor David was ministering, I caught a light from the Word of GOD – Matt 4:17-18 and Matt 20:1-9. Pastor David said that as children of GOD we are to be head hunted! I concluded that I will never struggle to get a job again.

My project was concluding in the month of May meaning that my contract will end. The Holy Spirit inspired me to contact the agencies I had used in the past. Using my internal work e-mail, I explained to them that my project was coming to an end; hence I will be available for employment. I got a response from one of them that I should come for an informal interview once my contract has ended. I went in but I was told that the consultants had not seen my CV that I would be contacted. I started thanking GOD not disappointed. On my way home in the train,  I got a call less that 10 minutes from the same agency that I should come back as they have a role for me. I was offer 2 roles immediately and that same week I got offers for 3 jobs! I give GOD the praise.

The Angels Went Before Me – Carly A.

I want to give this testimony to the glory of the Lord. I broke my arm well over a year ago, and because of that I lost my job three weeks ago as I was told I couldn’t do my job properly. I came to the Miracle Job Banquet Service two weeks ago and Pastor David said “command the angels to go before you and when you get a job interview that is what they would only see.” I did just that and went for an interview and to the glory of God that was what happened. I got there and they sat me down. The lady said to me: “Before we even start, I just want to let you know Carly that you have got the job.” Hallelujah!

My Free Shoes – Tukunbo O

My feet were washed during the Wednesday feet washing service. The next day, I went out to distribute flyers for a PUSH (Praise Until Something Happens) program, but I was told not to because I am elderly. They promised to do all. As I was going home however, I went into a shoe shop to see if I could get a pair of shoes to buy. I saw a new design and I was so happy. It seemed very comfortable, but looking at the price, I saw that it was too expensive for me, so I placed it back. The store manager saw me and asked if I liked the shoes. I told him I did and he said I could take it for free. God washed my feet and place shoes on them. Praise the Lord.

Tukunbo O.

D’s words on Feet Washing

I absolutely love this testimony. Short, sweet but DEEP…gorsh!

Erm, apart from a few scriptures (particularly John 13:1-17), there are not many sources that actually focus on mystery of feet washing. So today, I am going summarise the importance of feet washing, as well as highlighting the supernatural mysteries behind it. Hopefully then, you will become acquaint of what to expect when or if you have the opportunity to experience feet washing.

Okay, so the passage of John 13: 1-17 is about Jesus washing the disciples’ feet and how Peter (one of the disciples) did not understand this act of his Master, Jesus. Now in many years of my understanding the story highlights to us that as followers of Christ we must be willing to be servants. We should be willing to serve in any way that glorifies God. Are you willing to follow Christ’s example of serving?

It is also passage for leaders (*cough* like myself), to keep us in check, by questioning ourselves “how do we really treat those who work under us (whether children, employees or volunteers)?

This is just the in depth, beautiful meaning extracted from this scripture. Let us now touch down on the mysteries behind feet washing.

John 13:6-7

Then He came to Simon Peter. And Peter said to Him, “Lord, are you washing my feet?”

Jesus answered and said to him, “What I am doing you do not understand now but you will after this.”

Jesus even said Himself that feet washing is not an ordinary thing and that it is only with the help of the Holy Spirit that we will be able to understand it.

John 13:8

Peter said to Him, “You should never wash my feet!”

Jesus answered him. “If I do not wash you, you have no part of Me”

So by feet washing you will be a part of Him and by being a part of him includes having supernatural dominion, that includes being able to crush Satan under your feet (Romans 16:20), that includes having the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).

By washing your feet, you will be a part of Him, by that you will have access to supernatural elevation and promotion, He will make your feet like deer feet, given you the ability to run across rough and dangerous terrain, He will make you walk on high heels (Habakkuk 3:19). When difficult situations come by, you have the ability to get through it with ease.

By washing your feet, you will be a part of Him, by that you will have access to supernatural affluence. Your steps bathed with cream (walking into prosperity…) (Job 29:6).

As part of the anatomy, the feet are a crucial part of the body, it is our strength and it carries the weight of our body. It gives us the ability to moves us from point A to B. Even if our hands are not functioning, our feet can still manage to achieve so many things. I remember washing on “Newsround”, many years ago, someone who was born without the upper limbs, they were able to teach themselves how to draw and type with their toes, basically how to live daily with just their feet, isn’t that amazing?

Can you imagine now, the power that our feet will carry once we engage, believe and understand the mysteries of feet washing?

In a nutshell, it can be said that the act of feet washing is a spiritual medium where we have access to our missing parts in Christ; that could be strength, health, favor etc.

Feet washing together with your non paralyzed faith come with dangerous testimonies. So if you do get opportunity to attend a feet washing service, know that something amazing is about to happen in your life.

I thank God for daddy Tukunbo’s testimony, so simple but so deep.
